2023 Toyota Tundra

white tundra

Tundra is a biome in Earth’s Arctic region, characterized by its lack of tree growth, extremely cold temperatures and ground that is permanently frozen. It’s a harsh area but a fitting name for a pickup truck capable of conquering such a vast and merciless landscape.

We don’t know if that’s why Toyota decide to name its full-size pickup Tundra, but either way, the name fits. The 2023 Toyota Tundra rivals the competition with its capability, unique features and durability. Learn more down below or contact us at Valley Hi Toyota to get behind the wheel and experience the pickup for yourself.

Tundra Engine and Performance Specs

Under the hood of the 2023 Tundra is Toyota’s i-FORCE twin-turbo engine, capable of putting you in command of 358 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. Higher trims can boost those horsepower and torque numbers to 389 and 479, respectively, while a hybrid version of the Tundra is also available and gives you access to an incredible 583 lb-ft of torque thanks to the electric battery power.

The Tundra is available with Multi-Terrain Select, allowing you to optimize the truck’s performance for a variety of driving conditions that include mud, sand, rock, mogul and auto. When towing, the Tundra boasts a towing capacity of up to 12,000 pounds.

Interior Amenities and Design

Though capable of the tough jobs you’ll throw at it, the Tundra isn’t all business. It’s also designed to be a truck that is truly enjoyable to drive and/or ride in. This is evident through interior features like a panoramic moonroof, premium leather-trimmed seats, heated and ventilated front seats, American walnut wood trim and a large center touch screen display. The pickup looks just as good on the outside, with premium LED headlights and aggressive styling.

The 2023 Toyota Tundra is a pickup that is tough to match, starting at an MSRP of $36,965. To experience why, get in touch with us at Valley Hi Toyota to take it for a spin.
