Ant-Man? Honey, I Shrunk Brian. New Commercial

Hollywood has a fascination with special effects (VFX), these days. You can't watch any movie without some type of car chase, alien invasion, or Super Hero  King Kong dealershipdestroying the city. But remember how hokie and obvious effects were back in the day. Flashback to the 1933 classic King Kong. Tons of stop-motion frames and miniatures on the set. You gotta admit though, for its time it was revolutionary. How does this have to do with cars? Well, when Henry Ford constructed the Model T, that too was revolutionary for its time as well. Let's keep it Toyota. In 1937, Kiichiro Toyoda established the automobile division as a spinoff of his father's Toyota Industries.

Flash forward to 2018. Vehicles are on the verge to driving themselves in the not-too-distant future. No matter what a filmmaker dreams of, it can be translated on the silverscreen where it is virtually impossible to notice that laser beams and flying are not normal, unless you refuse to suspend your disbelief, (sorry, I went to Film School.)
In our latest commercial we decided to do the whole Shrinkray bit. Greenscreen and all. Perhaps as an homage to the classics. I can recall watching Honey, I Shrunk the Kids starring the zany Rick Moranis, or as recent as Marvel Studios' enjoyable and fun, Ant-Man and the Wasp. Granted, Valley Hi Toyota's budget is not nearly as huge as a studio, but Cody and the Kernel team did a great job pulling off a commercial where General Manager, Toyota Todd Stokes uses a Shrinkray gun that he obviously bought from Amazon Prime, to not only shrink prices at the Victorville Toyota dealership, but also to shrink Social Media Manager, Brian Ortega, of course.  So visit us today and check out the latest prices shrinking on the new Camry, Corolla, Tacoma, Tundra, Rav4 and more during Toyota's Clearance Event going on now this August.
