Results of the 2022 Rebelle Rally Presented by Toyota

The Rebelle Rally is the longest, most grueling off-road endurance competition in the nation, and 2022’s race was no exception. It combines driving, navigation, and pure willpower over 1,600 miles of trails. This all-female competition tests its competitors every year, with 2022 being the hardest competition yet. Endurance, Strength, and Skill

Eight days, two states, and over 150 hidden checkpoints. The 2022 Rebelle Rally is designed to test its competitors in teams of two across unforgiving terrain with no access to GPS. That includes cell phones; the teammates must make their way across the desert with their skills alone. Teams are judged in several categories, including map reading, route choice, and checkpoint accuracy.

Last year’s race included 108 teams of navigators and drivers in their own off-road capable vehicles, including a good number of rookie teams. That’s one of the great things about the Rebelle Rally. It encourages women of all ages and experience levels to compete and test their endurance, only succeeding by working together towards a common goal. Vehicles can be brought or rented, whether stock or heavily modified. However, each vehicle must be street legal with doors, windows, and seatbelts.

Looking at the 2022 results, you’ll find several Toyota models, including the third place 2022 Toyota Tundra. Even a 2004 Tundra placed within the top 10, showing that it’s not just about using the newest models. The top results also include several other Toyota models, like the 4Runner, Sequoia, and Tacoma. No matter the year of the model, each team utilized their off-roading and navigation skills to place high and finish the race, which is a true feat in itself.
