The Toyota Tacoma, or Taco as it’s lovingly referred to, is one of the most beloved vehicles of all time. It’s also one of the most reliable and sought after trucks ever made. And, it doesn’t hurt that Tacoma holds its value extremely well.

Since 1995 there has been one truck that has sold like a full-size truck in a smaller body. And now, for 2024, the Toyota Tacoma is all new and completely redesigned and engineered truck.

Your Choice of Tacomas

For 2024 you can have a choice of the standard i-FORCE 2.4-liter turbocharged inline-4 that will put out 278 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque, or you can option the i-FORCE MAX turbo 4-cylinder hybrid that makes 326 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque.

A brand new trim you can option is the Trailhunter, which was developed by Toyota specifically for the overlanding fans out there. It’s a completely different kind of Tacoma that’s built from square one to be the perfect vehicle for the off-roading and camping crowd, with features and technology from ARB, Old Man Emu, and RIGID. Or, you can opt for the TRD Pro, that’s Baja race inspired.

Tacoma’s trim levels include the SR, SR5, TRD PreRunner, TRD Sport, TRD Off Road, Limited, TRD Pro, and Trailhunter. And all models can be optioned with either a 5 or 6-foot bed, as well as a choice of extended cab, called XtraCab, or as a 4-door pickup.

Limited models come standard with power-retractable sidesteps, head-up display, a 14-inch touchscreen infotainment display, JBL audio, digital rear-view mirror, and adaptive variable suspension with four-wheel drive when equipped with the i-FORCE MAX hybrid engine.

When introducing the all-new 2024 Tacoma, Toyota Group Vice President and General Manager Dave Christ said, “With even more off-road capability and the quality, durability, and reliability that our customers expect along with a host of options for every owner, we’re confident that Tacoma will remain the top choice for mid-size pickup buyers when it arrives later this year.”
