2024 Toyota Tundra

It was for the 2022 model year that the Valley Hi Toyota showroom first showed the redesigned 3rd-generation Tundra. Tundra surprised the full-size truck market with its bold design and twin-turbo V6 engines that easily outperformed the previous and competing V8s. The largest surprise may have been the i-FORCE MAX hybrid powertrain that was the most powerful in the lineup with 437 horsepower and 583 lb-ft @ 2400 rpm while still delivering up to EPA-estimated 20 city/24 highway/22 combined fuel economy ratings. Now two years later, the 2024 Tundra carries on with new packages for increased capability and enhanced appearance.

Nightshade Package Adds Dark Aggression

The Nightshade appearance seen on other Toyota model lines makes its way to the 2024 Tundra Limited grades. With a name like “Nightshade”, one can expect a black theme which the package delivers to the Tundra by way of the grille, mirror caps, over fenders, and attractive 20-inch all wheels. What isn’t necessarily black is the body color, as the package will be available in Ice Cap, Wind Chill Pearl, Magnetic Gray Metallic, Celestial Silver Metallic, Supersonic Red, Lunar Rock, Blueprint, and of course, Midnight Black Metallic.

Factory Installed 3-inch TRD Lift

For 2024, Tundra models can be equipped with a factory-installed TRD 3” suspension lift kit to provide significantly more clearance over obstacles and uneven terrain.

  • Off-road skid plate
  • Multi-Terrain Select

  • Downhill Assist Control

One last change for 2024 is a new color Terra which will be available exclusively on the TRD Pro grade.

The Tundra continues to be available in SR, SR5, Limited, and Platinum, as well as the dual flagship grades consisting of the high-luxury Capstone and extremely off-road capable TRD Pro. As before, Tundra’s are assembled exclusively at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Texas (TMMTX) plant in San Antonio, Texas.  With 65% U.S.-sourced content, the Tundra is one of the most or the most American-made trucks, depending on how sourcing is determined.  This 3rd-generation Tundra was also designed in the U.S. Calty Design Center in Newport Beach, California, after extensive research on how American pickup truck owners use their vehicles. The 2024 Tundra models can be expected to be added to the Valley Hi Toyota Inventory in the fall of 2023.
