America’s best-selling mid-size pickup is back for its third generation with new packages, colors, and features. The 2023 Toyota Tacoma returns to the streets and trails of Victorville with signature customization options that Tacoma drivers love. This year, there are seven trim levels available starting at just $28,250 with two engine options. It’s just as capable as before, but what’s new in the 2023 Toyota Tacoma? Two New Packages: SR5 SX Package and Chrome Package
Do you want the look and feel of a custom Tacoma straight off the lot? Then the SX Package and Chrome Package might be for you. The SX Package, initially only available on the base SR trim, is now available on the V6 SR5. Bold black overfenders complement the black wheels, but that’s not all. The theme continues in blackout trim, black badging, blackout outer mirrors, and a signature SX bed graphic.
True to its name, the Chrome Package adds a gleaming touch to the SR5 Double Cab with 5-foot bed. The standard 16-inch wheels get a bump up to 18 inches complete with chrome-finished alloy. Chrome-finish details are added to the door handles, tailgate, and exhaust tip with a leather-wrapped shift knob inside.
2023 Toyota Tacoma New Colors and Features
The Tacoma Trail Special Edition has returned with a few new upgrades for those that go off the beaten path. Most notably, the front and rear suspensions get a lift for enhanced off-road performance at 1.1 and .5 inches respectively. Taller coil springs add ground clearance to the Trail Special Edition model, boosting the departure angle up to 26.4 degrees with a 34-degree approach. That’s in addition to the off-road skid plates, lockable bed storage, and 120V power outlet located in the bed.
Exclusive to the TRD Pro trim is a brand new, stand-out color option: Solar Octane. The new, bold color is the perfect accent for the TRD Pro’s heritage-inspired “TOYOTA” grille and black alloy wheels.
Like all other new Tacoma models, the TRD Pro is built with ultra-high strength steel and comes with standard Toyota Sense Safety. The Star Safety System includes features like Traction Control, Brake Assist, and other advanced safety features. There are 34 total model configurations, offering plenty of ways to enjoy the new Toyota Tacoma features and designs.
