Americans buy trucks. That’s what they do. Full-size pickups are a mainstay in this country, and Toyota’s Tundra is a major player in the game. It got a complete redesign for 2023, bringing a beefy new design, updated tech, and luxurious interior options that bring it to the level of the long-running American trucks. Toyota recently announced a new variant in the Tundra line, introducing the 1794 Limited Edition at this year’s State Fair of Texas.

2024 Toyota Tundra Limited Edition

While the “normal” 1794 brings luxurious leathers and a supremely upscale interior, the Limited Edition model gets leather upholstery from Saddleback Leather Company, and the company also provides several available accessories for buyers, including a tool roll, portfolio, key glove, and a pouch. Exclusive exterior styling elements include dark trim and moldings, unique logos, and a number plate with the truck’s production information. The Limited Edition is available for trucks with the Crew Max Cab and a 5.5-foot bed.

Toyota said it focused on capability with the Limited Edition, which brought an upgraded Fox suspension system with 2.5-inch diameter internal bypass shocks and a 1.1-inch lift. The lift gives the truck better approach and departure angles for more aggressive off-roading.

The Tundra 1794 Limited Edition gets the upgraded available i-Force Max powertrain, which includes a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine and an electric motor that makes a combined 437 horsepower and 583 pound-feet of torque. A ten-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive are also on board. Fuel economy for the setup is 18/20/19 mpg city/highway/combined, and towing climbs to more than 11,000 pounds.

2024 Limited Edition Badging for the Toyota Tundra

We don’t have full pricing details for the new truck yet, but it will likely slot in between the current 1794 Edition and the TRD Pro, which would mean a price tag in the upper $ 60,000 range. Toyota has also not yet given out a release date for the truck, but it’s not yet available on the automaker’s website.
