2024 Toyota Prius Limited Named Car and Driver 10Best

The first Prius was a small sedan that drew interest for its unique hybrid drivetrain. It was the 2nd generation mode with its aerodynamic shape and 4-door hatch practicality where the Prius success story began. Upon the 2nd generation’s debut twenty years ago, US sales doubled to 54K units in 2004 and then doubled again in the following year to almost 108K. The car also racked up awards, including Motor Trend’s Car of the Year and Car and Driver’s 10Best. Now, exactly two decades later, the 2024 Prius is making the same kind of waves, having first been awarded Motor Trend’s Car of the Year award again and recently named as one of Car and Driver’s 10Best.

2024 Toyota Prius Limited Named Car and Driver 10Best

Hybrid vehicles have become a major staple with customers across the country and our Valley Hi Toyota inventory includes many great options, but once again, the Prius breaks from its predecessors based on its drivetrain and design. The Prius improves in a way that goes to the core of the enthusiast magazine editors’ hearts with the updated drivetrain. That is to say, it’s much faster. As Car and Driver says: “If you wanted to drive a 220-hp Prius in 2004, you’d probably begin by scavenging junkyards for a Ford Taurus SHO V-6. Now, you simply climb into a Prius Prime and push the start button.” They point out that the Prius Prime transitions from stationary to 60 in 6.5 seconds, with the non-prime Prius not far behind at 7.1 seconds. This is quite a change since the previous generation Prius took over 10 seconds for the same feat.

2024 Toyota Prius Prime Front Dash View

Part of the acceleration change is simply having a larger engine. Whereas the previous Prius gasoline engine was a 1.8-liter inline-4 producing 121 horsepower, the fifth-generation Prius has a 2.0-liter inline-4 producing 150 hp. Combined with its two electric motors, it produces a combined 196 horsepower. The Prius Prime plug-in hybrid has a third motor for a combined 220 horsepower. That is a lot of pull for a compact sedan and dare we say that the term “sport sedan” could honestly be applied? At the same time, MPG – which has always been Prius’s calling card – has not suffered. The front-wheel drive Prius has an EPA-estimated rating of 57 city / 56 highway and 57 combined. Ratings vary among grades, but only the AWD XLE Limited breaks below 50 at 49/50/49. The Prius Prime plug-in hybrid is rated as high as 52 combined mpg and has an estimated EV-only range of 45 miles, covering most people’s daily commute.  That means that after charging at home on a standard household socket, the Prius Prime could effectively be an EV through the work week, while ready to tackle a weekend road trip without charging concerns.

2024 Toyota Prius Prime Front Seat Detail

Still, as impressive as all those numbers are, the 2024 Prius might not have earned those prestigious awards if not for this one other thing: It looks fantastic! The new Prius’s combination of an aggressively leaned back windshield blending into a single unbroken curve to the car’s Kammback rear and surrounding voluptuous curves makes it look at least as fast as it is and is enough for people to desire it for its appearance alone.

2024 Toyota Prius Prime Cargo Space

The Prius retains the practicality of its liftback for cargo access and has a starting price comfortably below $30K, with the top-level Prius Prime barely breaking the $40K point. In a way, it just makes sense now that Toyota has hybrid models up and down its lineup; they have given customers entirely new reasons to desire a Prius, and this country’s two most prominent car magazines have recognized that with their highest awards.

2024 Toyota Prius Prime Rear View

The new Prius is more impressive in person than in the printed word, so pay a visit to Valley Hi Toyota and see if it excites you as much as it has the experts.

As we step into 2024, inflation continues to be a topic of concern for many. Amidst these challenging times, Valley Hi Toyota has found a way to bring a smile to our faces while addressing this serious issue. Their latest commercial is not just a marketing strategy; it’s a humorous take on a topic that affects us all.

The commercial features Brian, a character who finds himself in a whimsical battle against inflation. However, instead of the economic concept, he’s literally fighting a group of inflatable tube men (Frankie & Tae). It’s a humorous twist that plays on the word “inflation” and gives viewers a much-needed laugh.

But the fun doesn’t stop there. In the midst of his imaginary battle, Brian is finally awakened by none other than the General Manager, “Toyota” Todd. This light-hearted moment serves as a transition to the real message of the commercial: Valley Hi Toyota is taking a stand against inflation in a way that benefits you directly.

This January, Valley Hi Toyota is offering incredible deals on some of their most popular models, including the Camry, Tundra, and Corolla. It’s their way of fighting back against the rising costs that have impacted so many. These deals are not just promotions; they’re a statement that Valley Hi Toyota understands the challenges of today’s economic climate and is committed to helping their customers.

If you’re interested in taking advantage of these deals, just ask for a salesperson at Valley Hi Toyota. They are ready and waiting to help you find the perfect vehicle at a price that respects your budget in these inflationary times.

Valley Hi Toyota’s New Year’s commercial reminds us that there are still reasons to smile and opportunities to save. It’s a unique blend of humor and practicality, perfectly encapsulating the spirit of the brand. If you’re in the market for a new car, now might be the perfect time to check out the deals at Valley Hi Toyota. Who knew fighting inflation could be so much fun?

Twenty years ago, MotorTrend awarded the 2004 Prius their Car of the Year award. This was the 2nd generation model featuring the 4-door hatchback design that became a runaway sales success. It was driven by everyone from recent college graduates to Hollywood celebrities and is still probably the model most people think of when they hear the name “Prius.” The 2023 Prius has had its most dramatic redesign since the 2024 model, and Valley Hi Toyota is happy to report that Motor Trend has again bestowed their highest honor on Toyota’s most efficient model.

Back in 2004, the Prius was recognized as the hybrid car. Now Hybrids come in all shapes and sizes, particularly within the Toyota model lineup. So how does the Prius stand out? Most noticeably, they made it beautiful. Prius models have always been efficient, practical, and distinctive, but the term “beautiful” never really applied. That has been completely turned around, and the Prius is now the sleekest compact car on the market and possibly the most attractive model in Toyota’s showroom. Toyota applied the time-tested technique of making it longer, lower, and wider. The front is a superbly executed version of Toyota’s new sedan design language. The steep windshield and subsequent uninterrupted roofline make the car appear as though it will cut through the air without the air even noticing.

“Toyota has fundamentally redefined the essence of a Prius with its new model, which represents a crowning achievement in its evolution,” said MotorTrend Group head of editorial Ed Loh. “The Prius succeeded in capturing the hearts and minds of MotorTrend judges by offering an undeniably attractive and engaging car—all while upholding its hallmark traits of efficiency, safety, and affordability. In an automotive landscape grappling with a scarcity of affordable EV options and inadequate charging infrastructure in the U.S., Toyota made the Prius hybrid the right car for this moment and rightfully earned MotorTrend’s 2024 Car of the Year award in the process.”

Motor Trend judges its “of the year” candidates not against each other but how they stand out in their competitive class. The cars are evaluated by the following six criteria:

  • Advancement in Design
  • Efficiency
  • Engineering Excellence
  • Performance of Intended Function
  • Safety
  • Value

Great design is only the beginning, as the Prius is also more powerful and more fun to drive than ever before. The drivetrain features a larger and more powerful 2.0-liter inline-4 engine that produces 150 hp vs the previous model’s 97 hp. It is combined with a 111-hp motor, while AWD versions, which can be had at every model trim, add a 40-hp motor at the rear.

The Prime Plug-in hybrid model has a more powerful 161-hp front motor which brings total system power to 220 horsepower. The Prime battery pack bumps up from .91 kWh in the standard Prius to 13.6 kWh, which enables an EV-only range of up to 45 miles, which is more than the daily commute for most drivers. The Prime can be plugged into a normal household socket and be charged from empty to full in 12 hours. Once in hybrid mode, the model is rated at 57 combined mpg.

The interior was fully redesigned as well. The compact driver’s information display is positioned above the steering wheel, where it combines the clarity of a digital gauge cluster with the positioning of a head-up display. The standard infotainment display is 8 inches growing to 12.3 inches mid-way up the model hierarchy. Plenty of physical controls remain for commonly used functions. The Prius is 2 inches lower than its predecessor but only loses one inch of headroom. The model retains its 4-door hatch confirmation for easy access to the cargo area.

The new Prius comes standard with Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 and has earned an Insurance Institute Highway Safety (IIHS) Top Safety Pick + rating, their highest. The NHTSA has not yet tested the new Prius, but it’s IIHS results and the fact that previous models have received their 5-star overall rating bodes well.

Says one editor: “This is the first Prius I’ve driven that I didn’t want to forget about the moment I climbed out of it. This new car looks so sharp, so cool, so interesting, I’m happy about driving it before I ever roll forward a single foot.” And Motor some up its story thusly: “It’s more attractive, more efficient, better to drive, and just as affordable as before. It’s unquestionably our 2024 Car of the Year.”

If you are considering a compact car, the Prius absolutely has to be at the top of your list, and you will find them here at Valley Hi Toyota.

2025 Toyota Camry Lineup

At the Los Angeles Auto Show, Toyota revealed a car that will likely impact more lives than any other new vehicle. By this, we refer to the debut of the 9th generation of the Toyota Camry, which has been the nation’s best-selling sedan for the past 21 years. Also revealed was the Crown Signia, an SUV version of the Crown sedan that is already a familiar sight in the Valley Hi Toyota showroom.

Camry goes 100% Hybrid

Toyota was asked about its limited showing of electric cars compared to other manufacturers. Toyota’s CEO responded that there was a relatively limited amount of lithium readily available. His stance is that the reduction of carbon is more effectively accomplished by having a little bit of lithium in millions of hybrid vehicles rather than a large amount of lithium in fewer EVs. Making good on the point, the 2025 Camry will join the Venza, Sienna, and of course, the Prius, in having every model equipped with a hybrid drivetrain which promises to put considerably more hybrids on the road.

2025 Toyota Camry Interior

The new Camry pairs a 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder engine with the fifth-generation Toyota Hybrid System to produce 225 net horsepower. Available for the first time ever, will be a Camry Hybrid, available with the Electronic On-Demand All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system. For that model, the drivetrain output is increased to 232 horsepower. It is too early for EPA mileage estimates, but we can get a clue from the current Camry hybrid with the same general arrangement, which gets 51 city, 23 highway, and 52 combined.

Rear View of the 2025 Toyota Camry

In styling, the biggest change is in the front, where the Camry adopts the styling language introduced on the latest Corolla and Prius. Much of the rest of the body carries over, but the interior is also completely redesigned. The center display, which is 12.3 inches on XLE and XSE models, is integrated into a horizontal upper section of the dash that stretches to incorporate the passenger vent. The side door trim spreads to the dash for a cohesive, integrated appearance. All models will have Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) 3.0, and Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert will now be standard on all models.

2025 Toyota Crown Signia

Introducing the Crown Signia

The current Crown sedan has a raised ride height, so a long-roof follow-up model is a logical extension. Naturally, it appears as a Crown wagon, resulting in a very handsome vehicle. Like the new Camry, all models will have a hybrid drivetrain, this time pairing the 2.5-liter engine with three electric motors for a total of 243 horsepower and an estimated combined MPG of 36 with standard all-wheel drive. It will be available as a 3-row SUV.

Interior of the 2025 Toyota Crown Signia

All Crown Signia models will feature TSS 3.0, a 12.3-inch center screen, a digital driver’s display, and offer an expansive 6.5-foot long cargo area with the 2nd-row seats folded down. Available features include a panoramic sunroof, premium leather seating, and 21-inch wheels.

2025 Toyota Crown Signia Side View

The 2025 Camry can be expected to enter Valley Hi Toyota’s showroom in the Spring of 2024. The Crown Signia can be expected to arrive in the following summer. You can ask one of our Valley Hi Toyota sales professionals to inform you when the first of either vehicle arrives.

The Prius is no longer just the quirky car your Earth-loving neighbor brags about. Toyota recently redesigned the car, giving it surprisingly attractive styling, an upscale cabin, and great tech.

Toyota Prius Parked Front 3/4 View in Front of a Cityscape

Toyota gave the Prius a complete overhaul for 2023, transforming it into a completely different car. There are no significant updates for 2024, but the car rolls in with up to 57 mpg in the city and a lively drivetrain that makes it far more engaging to drive than previous versions. The car comes standard with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 194 or 196 horsepower, depending on the configuration. It also offers 139 pound-feet of torque and sends it to the front or all four wheels through a continuously variable transmission.

Toyota Prius Driving on a Suburban Road Front 3/4 View

While those power numbers look modest on paper, the Prius benefits from its electric motors’ instant torque, which makes it feel much quicker off the line. The hybrid system also makes the car a joy to drive around town, as it enables quick acceleration that turns traffic into a non-issue. While some cars have lazy CVTs that dull the driving experience, Toyota gave the new Prius a responsive gearbox that keeps the engine working hard to deliver maximum power and performance.

At the same time, the car offers engaging handling and, with the right tires, can keep pace with many sportier models. It delivers a smooth ride in most situations and exhibits well-controlled body roll in corners. All-wheel drive is also available, making the Prius, a weather-conquering hybrid, ideal for people living where inclement weather makes roads more perilous at least part of the year.

Toyota Prius Interior Seating Rear Side View

The Prius offers a spacious cabin with seating for five. While cloth upholstery is standard, higher trims get synthetic leather. Front-seat passengers enjoy spacious bucket seats with great ergonomics and fantastic outward visibility. The back bench is also well-padded, offering decent head and leg room, though the car’s attractive sweeping roofline does cut into headroom to a degree. Cargo space measures 20.3 cubic feet in most trims, which is slightly less than in previous years but still great for the class.

Toyota Prius Front Interior Dashboard Driver Information Display

Toyota equips a generous list of standard safety equipment that includes forward collision warnings, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alerts, traffic sign recognition, rear-seat alerts, adaptive cruise control, and more. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety hasn’t crash-tested the 2024 Prius yet, but its predecessor earned a Top Safety Pick + award. We expect the newest model to repeat that performance, as Toyota left the car’s structure and safety equipment in place from the prior year. When you’re ready to learn more about the 2024 Prius or any other Toyota Hybrid, Valley Hi Toyota should be your first stop. Our knowledgeable staff can answer any questions you have, and we’ve got all the new models you want to see from Toyota.

Toyota SUV Driving

The Victorville area is not known for harsh winters, particularly when compared to other parts of the country, such as Minneapolis or Chicago. But the average temperature will drop about 40 degrees from summer to winter, with occasional days below freezing. So, while it may not be enough to get yourself a set of winter tires, there are several things you should do to prepare your vehicle for winter. That goes double if you plan on any sizable trips for the holidays. Valley Hi Toyota has these tips to keep your car at its best during the winter.

Toyota RAV4 Driving in the Snow

Heater and Defroster

We start with the most obvious. Your heater and defroster must be in good working condition for passenger comfort and driver visibility. Check your heater operation before it gets cold to ensure it takes care of you when needed. Conversely, your air conditioner must also operate well to ensure proper defrost ability. In the summer, it keeps you comfortable, but when it gets cold, you need it to see properly. If your air conditioning has been waning in the fall, have it looked at before the winter.

Check Your Car Battery

It may also be obvious, but it is easy to overlook as long as it starts your car. As the temperature drops, the chemical reactions inside your battery to hold a charge occur more slowly, and this causes your car to require more out of your battery to start the engine. Your battery works harder, and if it is already not as strong as it could be, the chances are if it dies, it will be in the cold. Which, of course, is the worst time for it to happen. The Valley Hi Toyota Service Department can run a battery load test to see if your battery is healthy. Items you can look for on your own include cracked or corroded battery cables and terminals.

Toyota wiper blades for car or SUV.

Replace Your Windshield Wipers & Fill Your Wiper Fluid

Our dry climate is already challenging on wiper blades, and lower temperatures just make them more rigid and less effective. You may also have used your wiper fluid plenty of times in the dry season. If we do get freezing weather, wiper fluid can be effective at removing frost from the windshield if you are using freeze-resistant wiper fluid. If traveling to more snow-heavy areas, ensure you have a good-quality ice scraper and snow brush in your car.

Check Your Tire Pressure

In the best conditions, cold weather causes air pressure in your tires to drop at approximately 1 PSI per 10 degrees. So from summer to winter, that is an average of 4 psi, and lower during extreme cold fronts. If this happened to a single tire, it would be enough to trigger a warning on the tire pressure monitoring system since most systems check for discrepancies between tires. But since this would happen to all four tires simultaneously, the TPMS will likely not notice. You should check your tire pressure once a month against the recommended pressure, not on your tires but for your model, which will be stated on a sticker located on the driver’s door jamb.

Toyota Prius in the Rain

Inspect Your Tires

As the temperature drops, your tires get harder, reducing traction, so we highly recommend you examine your tires for remaining tread life, uneven wear, and cupping. Also, check the sidewalls for cuts and nicks because these could get worse as the tire compound hardens. If you plan to travel to an area that experiences a lot of snowfall, consider installing winter tires, particularly if you travel to this area regularly in the winter. Winter tires are made of softer rubber that remains flexible in colder temperatures and have treads specially designed to keep their grip on snow and ice. This may be a good time to rotate your tires since it can be easy to overlook.

Change Your Oil

Cold weather will thicken oil and reduce its ability to circulate through the engine, so ensure you have fresh oil to keep your car running smoothly. Your owner’s manual should have a chart showing the recommended oil weight based on exterior temperature.

Check Your Belts And Hoses

Again, colder temperature makes everything harder, so things that need to be flexible, such as belts and hoses, should be checked. If there are any cracks now, they will get worse in the cold, which could hamper your vehicle’s operation.

Carry An Emergency Kit In Your Car

Having an emergency kit in your car at all times is good, but winter brings additional concerns. If you travel far, highways can be more treacherous, particularly with winter storms that can bring slicker road conditions and reduced visibility. To avoid getting caught out, equip your care with an emergency kit filled with supplies, including flares, work gloves, a first-aid kit, a flashlight (separate from your smartphone, which you will want to keep powered for other things), tools if you are handy, shovel, and kitty litter or sand for traction if you get stuck. For the winter, add blankets and some emergency food. Remember, even if you stay safe, something could happen a mile or two ahead of you that could keep you stuck for hours. So be prepared.

We Can Help

If you are comfortable with car maintenance, many of these activities can be done at home. Some require special equipment, like running a battery load test or rotating tires. And on some of the inspections, you may not be comfortable in knowing exactly what to look for. The Valley Hi Toyota Service Department can perform all of the maintenance by trained personnel who have done this plenty of times and know what to look for. So whether you want to do it yourself or have us do it for you, make sure your car is ready for the winter.

Black Friday and the beginning of the Christmas Shopping Season

Black Friday. We all know the term, but do we know where it originated? Maybe or maybe not, as it actually has more than one origin. The first known term traces back to 17th-century English school kids who bemoaned the exams that inevitably occurred on Friday.

Black Friday Started Out Pretty Dark

But that may have just been an isolated use. In the US, the term has two origins, both significantly darker than its current connotation. The first use in the US dates back not to the Friday after Thanksgiving but in September of 1869 after two notorious Wall Street financiers, Jay Gould, and Jim Fisk, had been steadily buying up as much of the nation’s gold as they could to drive the price up in a pump & dump scheme. On Friday, September 24th, the conspiracy was exposed, sending the stock market into free fall and bankrupting everyone from Wall Street barons to farmers.

“Black Friday” being applied to the day after Thanksgiving was first used by Philadelphia policemen to describe the chaos that ensued on the day after Thanksgiving.  Hordes of suburban shoppers and tourists flooded into the city in advance of the big Army-Navy football game held on that Saturday every year. Keep in mind this is less than a decade after World War II, and the country was full of proud Army and Navy veterans. Philly cops not only couldn’t take the day off but had to work extra-long shifts dealing with large crowds, traffic, and even a significant number of shoplifters who took advantage of the bedlam in stores and made off with merchandise. The term caught on in the city even as Philadelphia merchants tried in vain to coin the term “Big Friday” instead to give it a positive spin.

“Black Friday” lingered in Philly for decades before making its way to the rest of the country in the 1980s when the idea of retailers’ finance sheets “going from red to black” due to sales became the accepted understanding of the term. And Black Friday deals to draw shoppers became a tradition.

Off Road in the 2024 Corolla Premium

The GR Corolla is easily one of the most exciting Toyota models ever to reach our shores, and it enters 2024 in high demand after a year of low supply. Toyota added a new Premium grade for 2024, which brings some of the performance goodies offered in other trims.

The GR Corolla Premium builds on the Core trim with Torsen limited-slip differentials in the front and rear. It also gets suede upholstery with stitched GR logos and red-painted GR brake calipers. Other standard features include an eight-speaker JBL sound system, wireless charging, parking sensors, and brake cooling ducts.

Rear View of the New Toyota Corolla Premium

Styling is unchanged for 2024 as the GR Corolla rolls in with its signature wide fender flares and sleek hatchback shape. While some cars have wild scoops and spoilers for looks, the GR’s vents are functional, providing much-needed cooling to the engine, brakes, and more. Th

Of course, the stars of the show carry on unchanged. The turbocharged 1.6-liter three-cylinder engine and six-speed manual transmission remain on board, and the car’s rally-bred all-wheel drive system is still standard. Though small and short on cylinders, the engine is a winner, and the turbocharger’s 25.2 pounds of boost helps it deliver an impressive 0-60 mph time of around five seconds.

The ultra-limited Morizo Edition model was only available for one year, but the Core and Circuit trims return alongside the new Premium. While the powertrain is the same for all three, the base Core requires adding a performance package to get the limited-slip differentials. The Circuit trim gets a hood bulge and gloss-black air vents, along with a carbon fiber roof and unique graphics.

We’ve entered a golden age of speed and power with small cars in recent years, and the fantastic GR Corolla has stiff competition from vehicles like the Honda Civic Type R,

Acura Integra Type S, and Volkswagen Golf R. Even so, none of those cars offer the precision of control over their powertrains that the GR provides, and only the Golf R has all-wheel drive. There’s also the rarity and “specialness” factor, which Toyota has in spades over its competitors.

If you want to get behind the wheel of a new GR Corolla in 2024, Valley Hi Toyota should be your first stop. We’ll check inventory levels and help you find the right rally-inspired performance hot hatchback.

Side View of the 2024 Toyota RAV4 Woodland Edition

The Toyota RAV4 practically invented its segment, and it continues as one of the best options in the field today. Toyota has updated the SUV over the years, adding new powertrain choices, including hybrid and plug-in options. The RAV4 has also moved toward the rugged end of the SUV spectrum with the recent Adventure trim. For 2024, Toyota is introducing a new Hybrid Woodland Edition trim that brings additional cargo space, on-demand all-wheel drive, and a new available paint color.

Proven Hybrid Power

The Hybrid Woodland Edition retains the 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and electric motor that combine for 219 horsepower. It returns 37 mpg combined and offers several drive modes, including a Trail mode that improves off-road traction and a sport mode for stronger acceleration. Toyota also gave the SUV TRD-tuned suspension, giving it better off-road performance and a more comfortable on-road experience.

Interior styling didn’t drastically change with the Woodland Edition, but the trim gets upscale features like heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and rain-sensing wipers. It keeps the RAV4’s valuable interior storage space, including massive cupholders and a large open tray storage space.

Updated Tech and Robust Safety Features

Toyota improved the RAV4’s infotainment software by giving it an eight- or 10.5-inch display. The new interface is more fluid and responsive than before, and it’s a delight to use while driving, making it less distracting than many competing systems. Toyota equips Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard equipment, along with HD radio, SiriusXM radio, and more.

2024 Toyota RAV4 Woodland Edition

Of course, the RAV4 wouldn’t be as competent a family hauler if it weren’t safe, and it gets a full suite of advanced driver-aids to bolster its safety credentials. Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 comes standard, bringing adaptive cruise control, lane departure alerts, lane tracing assist, automatic high beams, and much more. The 2024 model hasn’t been crash-tested yet, but the 2023 model earned an IIHS Top Safety Pick.If you’re in the market for a new compact SUV, the RAV4 should be at the top of your list. Toyota offers a broad range of trims and configurations, meaning there’s an SUV for almost any buyer. Valley Hi Toyota has a vast RAV4 selection and can help you find the perfect ride for your family and needs.

Front View of the new Toyota Tundra

Americans buy trucks. That’s what they do. Full-size pickups are a mainstay in this country, and Toyota’s Tundra is a major player in the game. It got a complete redesign for 2023, bringing a beefy new design, updated tech, and luxurious interior options that bring it to the level of the long-running American trucks. Toyota recently announced a new variant in the Tundra line, introducing the 1794 Limited Edition at this year’s State Fair of Texas.

2024 Toyota Tundra Limited Edition

While the “normal” 1794 brings luxurious leathers and a supremely upscale interior, the Limited Edition model gets leather upholstery from Saddleback Leather Company, and the company also provides several available accessories for buyers, including a tool roll, portfolio, key glove, and a pouch. Exclusive exterior styling elements include dark trim and moldings, unique logos, and a number plate with the truck’s production information. The Limited Edition is available for trucks with the Crew Max Cab and a 5.5-foot bed.

Interior of the 2024 Toyota Tundra

Toyota said it focused on capability with the Limited Edition, which brought an upgraded Fox suspension system with 2.5-inch diameter internal bypass shocks and a 1.1-inch lift. The lift gives the truck better approach and departure angles for more aggressive off-roading.

Rear View of the 2024 Toyota Tundra

The Tundra 1794 Limited Edition gets the upgraded available i-Force Max powertrain, which includes a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine and an electric motor that makes a combined 437 horsepower and 583 pound-feet of torque. A ten-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive are also on board. Fuel economy for the setup is 18/20/19 mpg city/highway/combined, and towing climbs to more than 11,000 pounds.

We don’t have full pricing details for the new truck yet, but it will likely slot in between the current 1794 Edition and the TRD Pro, which would mean a price tag in the upper $ 60,000 range. Toyota has also not yet given out a release date for the truck, but it’s not yet available on the automaker’s website.
