What Are All Of The Toyota Models Available With A Hybrid Powertrain

April 1st, 2025 by

In 2000, Toyota introduced the first Prius. That sedan began a new revolution in driveline technology by combining an internal combustion engine with an electric motor and a battery pack that recovered energy through braking. The aim of this driveline was to increase fuel economy and reduce tailpipe emissions.

Since the arrival of the Prius, Toyota has sold over 15 million hybrid vehicles worldwide. In 2024, hybrids account for around 44 percent of all Toyota sales. We remain the leader in hybrid vehicle sales in this country and globally.

Now, Toyota offers a hybrid driveline in 15 models across our lineup. Two of which offer plug-in hybrid drivelines, as well. Here is a rundown of what we have to offer you for hybrid vehicles.

PRIUS:  The original hybrid vehicle offers more value than ever. A more powerful driveline and a sleek design make it a more attractive vehicle than ever.
