Inside the 2025 Toyota Sequoia 1794 Edition

There is a sense of luxury that comes with the rich history of the “wild west,” from the feel of saddle leather and fine wood to the allure of ranchero life. For 2025, Toyota adds the special western-inspired luxury of the 1794 Edition trim to the Sequoia SUV, adding a next-level feeling to its Texas-produced three-row large SUV.

The 1794 trim level is named after a ranch near San Antonio that was established in 1794 by a Spanish colonist named Juan Ignacio de Casanova. This former ranch site is where Toyota assembles its Sequoia and the Tundra.

Everything you see on the Sequoia 1794 Edition harkens back to its heritage and the lifestyle that Texas was known for in the days of the Alamo. You can see some of our High Desert heritage in the 1794, too. We had a wonderful ranchero lifestyle here in California before we became a state.

Inside, the Sequoia 1794 Edition incorporates real American walnut wood grain interior trim, unique leather-trimmed heated and ventilated massaging front seats, and sleek 1794 badging. The second-row benefits from captain’s chairs, making it easier for passengers to get into the third row. Also standard on this luxury trim is a panoramic roof.

Outside, a set of 20-inch alloy wheels along with a chrome grille and trim distinguish the 1794 from the rest of the Sequoia lineup. High-grade LED headlights and taillights are added, along with sequential turn signals.

The driver gets the standard 12.3-inch digital instrument display, head-up display, and Panoramic View Monitor. Rain-sensing wipers are added, along with standard Qi wireless charging. The 14.0-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia display is augmented by the 14-speaker JBL Premium Audio system. A Wi-Fi Connect subscription offers 4G connectivity for up to five devices by turning the Sequoia into an AT&T Hotspot. It also offers the ability to link your separate Apple Music and Amazon Music subscriptions to your vehicle with Integrated Streaming.

Vehicles equipped with Toyota Audio Multimedia are available with up to ten years of Safety Connect and Service Connect. Safety Connect is a suite of telematics technologies such as 24/7 automatic collision notification, stolen vehicle locator, and Destination Assist. Services can be activated via the Toyota Audio Multimedia system or the SOS button, depending on the function requested.

Just like all Sequoia models, it is powered by the i-FORCE MAX powertrain that is mated to the standard ten-speed automatic transmission and standard four-wheel drive. It also comes with the standard Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 suite of driver assistance and safety features. A tow tech package includes the Trailer Backup Guide with Straight Path Assist.

There is no question that you get everything in a 2025 Sequoia 1794 Edition. You also get that feeling of the Old West every time you and your family step inside. If you want that feeling in your next family-sized SUV, contact us at Valley Hi Toyota to check one out soon.
