Valley Hi Toyota Just Spoofed Every Lawyer Ad You’ve Ever Screamed At on the 15 Freeway

“VHT & Associates” is ready to fight for you — not in court, but on a car lot. It was “Toyota” Todd’s idea, and the GM and VP of the Valley Hi Auto Group doesn’t miss. He, General Sales Manager Efrain Ramirez, and Creative Director Brian Ortega are going big this spring — taking aim at the billboard-and-jingle industrial complex with a spoof that hits harder than a rear-end collision at the 395 interchange.

Valley Hi Toyota — “Call VHT & Associates!” | The spoof you didn’t know you needed.
If you’ve driven the 15 through the Cajon Pass in the last decade, you have involuntarily memorized the phone numbers of at least four personal injury attorneys. Sweet James is watching you from every overpass. iAccidentlawyer.com has burned itself into your retinas somewhere around Oak Hill Road. Call Jacob. Don’t call Jacob. Call him back. The billboards never end, the jingles don’t leave, and somewhere between Victorville and Barstow you’ve probably recited a 1-800 number in your sleep without knowing why. Valley Hi Toyota has had enough. And this spring, they’re saying so — loudly, in suits. The Victorville dealership dropped a short-form video on their social channels this week that does something nobody asked for but everybody needed: it turns the entire California lawyer-ad genre inside out and sells cars with it. The whole thing was the brainchild of “Toyota” Todd — General Manager of Valley Hi Toyota and Vice President of the Valley Hi Auto Group — who showed up in a bold yellow suit and clearly arrived with an agenda. Standing alongside him: General Sales Manager Efrain Ramirez in a sharp purple suit, and Creative Director Brian Ortega in maroon. Three guys, three power suits, zero apologies.
“Have you been injured by overpaying for a vehicle? You may be entitled to a better deal.” — VHT & Associates, probably
The spot, titled “Call VHT & Associates! We fight to get you the best deal,” leans into every trope of the California legal advertising machine — the urgent music, the direct-to-camera appeal, the sense that somewhere, somehow, you have been wronged and only a professional can make it right. Except in this case, the wrong is a bad car deal, and the professionals are Todd, Ramirez, and Ortega standing in a wood-paneled law library in the High Desert looking entirely too comfortable doing it. It’s a short, it’s sharp, and for anyone who commutes on Southern California’s freeway corridor, it lands like a punch line you’ve been waiting three years to hear. Sweet James built a brand on repetition and reach. Valley Hi Toyota just did it in under sixty seconds with better suits.
Who’s Behind the Suits? “Toyota” Todd is the General Manager of Valley Hi Toyota and Vice President of the Valley Hi Auto Group — the visionary who dreamed up VHT & Associates and then had the nerve to actually make it. The yellow suit was a statement. The concept was a flex. He delivered both. Efrain Ramirez is the General Sales Manager at Valley Hi Toyota — the closer’s closer, the guy who makes deals happen on the floor and apparently also on camera. The purple suit was not an accident. Brian Ortega is the Creative Director for the Valley Hi Auto Group, the mind behind the dealership’s increasingly bold content strategy — and the reason Valley Hi’s marketing looks nothing like any other dealership in the Inland Empire. The maroon suit was definitely not an accident either.
This is what happens when a dealership stops trying to out-spend the competition and starts trying to out-think them. Valley Hi Toyota and Valley Hi Kia, both part of the Valley Hi Auto Group, serve the High Desert and broader Inland Empire region — and they’ve spent the last few years building a content identity that is genuinely hard to replicate: personality-forward, self-aware, and clearly having a better time than anyone else in the business. The lawyer-ad spoof is a perfect expression of that identity. It meets the audience exactly where they are — stuck on the 15, halfway through a commute, staring at another billboard for a 1-800 number they’ll never call — and offers them something to laugh about instead. The message, without saying it outright: we see what you see, we’re tired of it too, and we’re not going to do that to you.
“Spring 2026 is when Valley Hi stopped playing it safe — and started playing to win.” — The general energy of three guys in power suits who run a car dealership
There’s also a delicious irony at work: a spoof of aggressive advertising, deployed as advertising. The spot is running as a paid YouTube pre-roll — meaning it will appear before videos, just like the real lawyer ads it’s roasting. If Sweet James had a sense of humor about himself, he might appreciate the audacity. Valley Hi Toyota is located in Victorville. If you’ve been injured by a dealership that didn’t fight for you, VHT & Associates is apparently taking new clients this spring. No retainer required. Just show up. Ask for Todd. He’ll be the one in yellow.

Then visit valleyhitoyota.com — because you deserve a better deal too.
