Toyota Camry Is Still the Sensible Choice
As the best-selling sedan in the U.S.A., the Toyota Camry continues to deliver on comfort, efficiency, quality, and value. For 2025, the Camry has evolved into a sedan sporting a stunning design and advanced technology to meet the needs of today’s drivers. A recent review on the Yahoo! Autos website also called the Camry “sensible.”
They based this on their time with the 2025 Camry XSE with All-Wheel Drive. The sporty Camry is now powered by the Hybrid driveline, consisting of a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and three electric motors for the AWD model. In total, this delivers a net combined 232 horsepower.
The XSE model gets an uprated suspension engineered to improve handling without sacrificing ride quality. A set of 19-inch smoked gray and black-finished alloy wheels and all-season tires round out the look and inspiration for this sporty and sensible sedan.
What captured the attention of the Yahoo! Autos team was the Camry’s new interior. They said that “[t]he cabin provides ample room for both front- and rear-seat passengers, even with my six-foot-three frame in the driver’s position. The trunk is impressively capacious, too, offering up to 15.1 cubic feet of capacity. Both the XLE and XSE receive leather trim, which helps to elevate the sense of quality.”
Part of this new interior is the 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster, which provides clear information in an easy-to-read display. You can also customize the information you need. You can opt for a 10-inch head-up display in the XSE, providing essential information while keeping your eyes on the road.
Plus, the center stack has a 12.3-inch infotainment touch screen. It is the hub for all connectivity, including wireless smartphone integration through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Voice recognition allows you to access key functions on the Camry and get directions to where you need to go.
Toyota is committed to making the Camry one of the safest sedans on the road. Yahoo! Autos agrees as they recognize what the Camry offers to keep everyone safe from harm. They pointed out that, “[t]he entire suite of Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 comes as standard, including dynamic distance-keeping radar cruise control, road-sign detection, and automatic high beams.”
In summary, Yahoo! Autos concluded that “[t]here is a reason that the Toyota Camry is one of the few remaining stalwarts of the sedan segment. This latest version builds on the recipe proven by its predecessors, with improved efficiency and style. There are more dynamic offerings out there, but you would struggle to find a commuter with such a broad skillset—and it is hard to argue against the impressive efficiency of the new hybrid powertrain.”
